It’s hard to believe this day is here!
When I first started writing ‘A Fine Line’, I wasn’t sure what path it would take in publishing. There were times where it was hard to see that faint light at the other side of the tunnel or imagine the end product. I fretted over the political subplot (HELLO, politics are BLEAK). I had to remind myself why I was writing it. I had to remember that I needed to keep going. It wasn’t the first time I’d written a multichapter, novel-shaped thing, but it was the first time I’d done it with original characters. It was the first time building every little part from scratch and letting it soar. It was the first time I sought feedback from outside my little fandom writing sphere and waited anxiously for notes.
There were so many firsts with this novel and every single one was telling me that it wouldn’t be the last. That I have more stories to tell and share!
I wrote ‘A Fine Line’ when I was learning more about my process, to trust my gut, and in the midst of the news in my country having the power to flip my desire to write about local politics daily. I wasn’t sure it would sell. I wasn’t sure people would want to touch it, and in the quiet hours of the night, I would allow myself to pre-mourn no one ever reading prose and characters and romance and banter that I was incredibly proud of in order to keep myself grounded about the outcome. The release of this novel signifies more than my debut, but also the tireless weeks and months spent working toward this goal. It’s due to tremendous support I have in my life that I can’t imagine being able to write without.
It is a love story. It’s about two rivals that enter into a simmering situationship. It’s about a smalltown mayoral election. But it’s also about people wanting a purpose and wanting to enact change. It’s about connection and wanting to be seen for who you are.
It’s a love letter to small towns. To movers and shakers on the small stage. It’s a love letter to the parts of myself that always felt like too much or not enough.
It’s a reminder that love can be found in unexpected places, and hope is worth holding close!
Oh, there’s also some spice, banter, and two people that absolutely bring out the worst in each other before they manage to bring out the best.
A FINE LINE has belonged to me for a while now, and I’m so excited that now it belongs to you, dear readers!
I hope you love it <3

Last but not least, please feel free to tag me on social media when you receive your copy or with your favorite quotes. I can write, sing, dance, edit videos, and Canva this book’s existence into the void, but one of the most effective forms of marketing is word-of-mouth! When you have the chance, please leave a review on Goodreads, Storygraph, and/or Romance.io! It’s a big help to a debut indie romance author, but it will really help other readers find their next favorite rivals to lovers romance <3
Thank you! I’m so excited to share what’s next :)
Love,

Please create wholeheartedly.
