Hi, friends! It’s been a while.

Recent trip to Chattanooga Zoo, Hunter Museum of American Art, Tennessee River, Nashville Hot chicken in Nashville, and Nelly

I’d convinced myself that I’d sent a newsletter out last month or at least the one before that, but according to the data staring back at me (the date clearly labeled in my account), it’s been MONTHS (Okay, I did start a rage post about publishing being like the DMV—which I will still post at some point, I’m sure, but I haven’t finished it)!

To be completely honest, I’ve been slammed with writing/editing and in my personal life (I am apparently a softball parent now???) Vitamin D and family time have been incredible, and to be honest, it was really good for me to take a little breather in some areas after promoting ‘A Fine Line’. Yes, I am trying to create BALANCE and TIME! For myself! HUZZAH!

The release back in February was a fun, exciting time, but it’s exhausting promoting and posting to social media. Apparently, I can’t just make funny videos all the time and have to actually promote my book? How very dare! With that in mind, if you haven’t left a review, please consider doing so—especially on Goodreads/Amazon. It helps to gain traction and get recommended on those sites to readers (ie. You purchased [insert novel name here], therefore you may like ‘A Fine Line’). The reality is that I can push and promote as much as possible, but nothing is more helpful than a reader’s perspective.

Speaking of ‘A Fine Line’… anyone interested in some bonus content?

As a newsletter subscriber, you have exclusive access to ‘Fine Line’s OG Epilogue. The one that I loved, but ultimately scrapped.

There were times when I never thought this book would see the light of day, much less this little addition making it out to readers. Thank you again for subscribing and following along. And thank you for embracing Calliope and Emerson, Nate, Sami, Anita, Liza, and the rest of the crew!

You can read the OG Epilogue from Emerson’s POV here.

Have a great week, friends! (Nelly says, hi)
